Cleaning a greasy oven often feels impossible.
However, you can restore its shine without using toxic chemicals. Natural solutions work better than most store-bought sprays.
Prepare the Surfaces
First, remove the metal racks from the oven. Soak them in your bathtub with hot water and soap. Next, mix baking soda with a little water. You want a thick, spreadable paste for the interior surfaces.
Apply the Mixture
Apply the paste to every inch of the interior. In addition, focus on the door and the bottom. Let this mixture sit for at least twelve hours. Consequently, the soda softens the burnt grease and carbon over time.
Final Rinse
Wipe the dried paste away with a damp sponge. Then, spray white vinegar on any stubborn spots. The vinegar creates a gentle foam on contact. Finally, give the entire oven one last rinse. You now have a clean oven for your next meal. Therefore, you can bake without any strange smells or smoke. If the spot is hard to get off, then I suggest using a wet pumice stone to scrap off anything that is stuck. Enjoy your sparkling kitchen!
